My mother is a piano and voice teacher, so we all learned to sing and play an instrument. (Mine was violin/fiddle.)

Languages
I'm a learned Spanish-speaker - Minor in Spanish. Lived/Studied in South America for a semester. I know a few words in French, Hindi, Mandarin, and Lakota and have an entire shelf devoted to language-learning.
Travel - Domestic and International
I have a passport and I know how to use it!
I have traveled to Italy, France, Chile, Argentina, India, Mexico, and Spain. I enjoy a domestic road trip every now and again in the U.S. of A. I have even traveled overnight by train.
Horseback Riding
Many moons ago, I took lessons for years, was a cabin counselor at Ranch Camp at a YMCA summer camp, and I competed on my University's team for the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association. There is nothing like a good trail ride... or a gallop on the beach!
Walking/Picking Up Trash
Call it an overdeveloped sense of responsibility or just irritation at seeing trash on my neighborhood walks, but sometimes I take my 'Trash Wagon' with me.
