Above: Singing and dancing at the engagement party of some friends in New Delhi, India in February 2009. I was singing from the lyrics I hurriedly wrote down last minute (no cell service for Google!). I then performed my own choreography to a song from a Bollywood movie. Nerve-wracking, but fun! I have also performed in a group Bollywood dance at my University for India Nite. I dance more than Bollywood, I promise. Check out my Youtube for more!
Interests
Languages
Spanish-speaker - Minor in Spanish. Studied in South America for a semester
Also interested in other languages. I know a few words in French, Hindi, Mandarin, and Lakota and have an entire shelf devoted to language-learning.
Travel - Domestic and International
I have traveled to Italy, France, Chile, Argentina, India, and Mexico.
I have a passport and I know how to use it!
I also enjoy a good road trip every now and again in the U.S. of A. I have even traveled overnight by train!
Horseback Riding
I competed on my University's team for the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association.
It's been a long while since I've ridden. I took lessons for years and was a cabin counselor at Ranch Camp at a YMCA summer camp. There is nothing like a good trail ride... or a gallop on the beach!
